Sugarvalley Neighborhood Centre have a fax, photocopying and laminating service available to the public for a small donation. We also have internet and email access available for the community.
We provide the community access
to a FREE self-service washing machine, powder and clothes line.
We have a have a community library available built from wonderful donations.
Come and browse our library shelves
and feel free to take a book for yourself.
We have books for children and adults.
We have hot showers available for people to use when they do not have access to one.
If needed, we can provide a towel and some modest toiletries.
Thanks to kind donations, grants and wonderful Volunteers we have a fantastic Community Garden.
Community members are welcome to work on the garden as well as use the herbs etc. from the garden.
We recently had our very own Share the Dignity Pink Box installed in our laundry and bathroom area. Giving women and girls the dignity of privacy and access to free tampons and pads.
Many people become overwhelmed with complicated forms, uploads and scanning needs for things like MyGov and Centerlink. Our staff are here to help to lessen the load.
Clayton Barr, NSW State Labor Member for Cessnock and the Shadow Minister for Finance, Services and Property, holds a 'Mobile Office' in our centre by appointment.

Clayton is available to talk about any issues you may be having with the State Government or any of its departments.
Supported playgroup is for all mums, dads, grandparents or carers of children.
Coordinated by family workers who are qualified in early childhood education and development, the group provides a range of learning experiences for children while they play.
Playgroup is held every Monday during School Term
Oz Harvest is an Australian food rescue organisation which collects surplus food from local business and supermarkets throughout the community.
Oz Harvest is available every Friday
If you are unable to buy grocerices due to financial difficulty, we receive Food Bank every week and can assist with your needs.
We can provide basic stock, non-perishable food items like sauces, canned goods, pasta and rice.
We have a Justice of the Peace available most days of each week. Please call the centre to check if a JP is available the day you require one.
